What is a physical inventory service?
A physical inventory service is a third-party count of every product on your shelves to reconcile what you actually have on hand against what your POS or accounting system thinks you have. Apex sends trained counters with scanners to your location, captures every SKU, and delivers a POS-ready file with shrink and variance reports.
How much does a physical inventory count cost?

What’s the difference between a full inventory count and a self-scan program?
A full-service count means Apex sends a trained crew to your location with scanners and does the entire count for you. How long does a physical inventory take?
A typical convenience store takes 2–3 hours. Larger formats like hardware stores or grocery can take 5–10 hours depending on SKU complexity and crew size. We schedule around your operating hours so the count doesn’t disrupt sales.

We average a 99% accuracy rate across more than 22,000 completed counts. Every audit is scanner-driven and reviewed before the file is delivered — no eyeballing, no guesswork.
How quickly will I get my final report?
